Arissa Media Group (AMG), founded in 2009, by Craig Rosebraugh, was bought by a small group of people in 2012, then later that year sold as a project to the Institute for Critical Animal Studies. AMG, an all-volunteer publishing collective, is one of the only presses dedicated to publishing those that have been and are incarcerated in prisons, jails, border detention facilities, juvenile detention facilities, and mental hospitals for prisoners. AMG strive to publish Authors of Color.
